TEKBUG was Seattle’s first, last and only technology/lifestyle tabloid, and ran from August 2001 – December 2002. I was fortunate enough to art direct the publication during its entire lifetime, and had the opportunity to work with a wide range of extremely talented writers and artists. Even 10+ years gone, it remains one of my favorite projects. The blend of content, art, and slightly-irreverant tone made it a dream to work on.

I absolutely loved your work! And, like you, TekBug was way too much intellectual (ironic) fun…. maybe that is why it was gasping for air in a place where fun is not really understood any deeper than, let’s say, riding a big ferris wheel or running around town pretending to be cool in some nude parade or underwear celebration. Stay cool. I love the studioopolis mark…. great play on the word metropolis, conjuring up all that is urban utopia and inclusive design. Laters….
