When I first saw this letter x, it made me think of Marvel Comics’ Black Widow (played memorably by Scarlett Johansson in the Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. And somewhat less memorably in Iron Man 2.) Rendering the X as if it were her symbol seemed like the right thing to do. If you’d like to review all the letters in the series, you can do that here.
